In a word: Growth. Whether you’ve been a Christian for 6 years or 6 minutes, there’s more that God can do in you and through you. But growth is hard. It requires faith and focus. The BWC is an environment of grace and challenge, love and sacrifice, without homework or the distractions of the school year.
Discover the purpose of your life, your design, your role, your destiny. It is impossible to know these things apart from knowing your maker: “We are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we might walk in them.” ~Ephesians 2:10
At BWC you will:
- worship God
- learn how to share the Gospel
- share the Gospel
- learn forgiveness
- develop a campus wide strategy for ministry
- provide aid to the needy
- study the Bible
- learn how to lead a Bible study
- make new friends
- find a spouse (mileage may vary)
- pray for the nations
It’s hard to imagine a better way to grow during your winter break.
The following is a list of answers from students when asked “What did God do in your life at the Boston Winter Conference”
“He gave me more than just a spiritual high. He gave me the tools and the motivation to continue serious study and worship of Him in my day to day life. I gained a lot of encouragement and motivation to be a strong leader on my campus and elsewhere in my life.”
“Made me want to share my faith everyday that I’m alive”
“Brought me to Jesus”
“God brought me back to Him during the conference. Before I was kinda wandering away from Him, but He was able to bring me back thanks to the conference. I was so inspired to live my whole life for God and God alone.”
“It was a blessing to have the first days of the year to hear God’s word, fellowship, pray, and praise. I liked that the conference is long enough to give us time to process information and to feel God’s presence.”
“God showed me how hungry people in Boston are for the Bread of Life (God’s Word). I was so happy to see all those hands raised of people who led others to Christ. It made me want to do outreaches in our town back at school.”
“God did so much in my life that week. He provided for me financially during the week. He provided me with a number of valuable resources that will help me in my leadership role and in my faith. He also helped me face the day of outreach without much fear. And He blessed me with so many deep spiritual conversations and the opportunity to build relationships with so many strong Christians.”
“God truly moved in me during BWC… It was a very significant spiritual week for me. :)”
“THE BOSTON WINTER CONFERENCE HAS BEEN THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY 22 YEARS OF LIFE…REALLY! THANK YOU!”
