Darryl Smith

As a firm believer in speed limits not applying to himself and that Noah should have barred the alligators and snakes from the ark, Darryl Smith did not waste any time after receiving Christ in 1991. He became licensed to preach just one year later and was ordained in 1994. Darryl has been on staff with Campus Crusade for fifteen years, working with high school students in his native stomping ground of Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was made National Director of Student Venture in 1997, uprooting and moving to Crusade’s world headquarters in Orlando, Florida with his lovely wife, Gwen, and three children. Although Darryl travels around the nation speaking to people of all ages, it is rumored that his jeans are so heavily starched that they stand on their own and that he can perform a mean Holy Spirit rap. We’ll have to see about that.
